Amanda Janson Releases New Single 'In the Name of Jesus'

Mar 10 2022

Amanda Janson, a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN, has released 'In the Name of Jesus'. The song is described as an anthem for 2022, and was produced by 5 time Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated producer Chris Bevin and recorded by Grammy-winning engineer Jerricho Scroggins.

"Following the last two years which have been so hard on so many people around us. I truly believe it can minister to those who hear it and remind them of the power behind the name of Jesus", Amanda says.

Amanda has loved music since an early age and after an unfulfilling pursuit of musical theater and Broadway, she knew there was something more to music and to life. After giving her life to the Lord in 2013, Amanda began leading worship and writing songs about her faith. Music is in her DNA and she couldn't imagine using her love for music in any other way than to serve the Lord. Amanda’s debut single, In the Name of Jesus, is an anthem proclaiming the power of the name of Jesus and she prays it ministers to all who listen. Her greatest desire is to release music that turns the listeners back to Him. Amanda is a wife and mother of 2 (soon to be 3!) and just recently made the move to Nashville, TN to keep pursuing music. She can’t wait for what comes next as she continues to create and release music for His glory!
