South Africa's Linkway Worship Release 'Matchless King' Ahead of New Album
Linkway Worship, the worship ministry of Linkway Church in Cape Town, South Africa, release their new single 'Matchless King' on 19th November, ahead of the release of their new album 'Walk By Your Spirit ' on 21st January 2022.
"We have a passion for Jesus and writing music that will help people encounter Him and grow in how they worship & love Him through the Holy Spirit", the group explains. "Our first album, Reign In Me, was released in 2008 to good reviews in Joy! Magazine and several newspapers around South Africa. The songs from this album are still receiving some airtime on radio and are used in worship services around the world.
Under Pastor Allan van Heerden’s leadership we’ve led worship on camps, conferences, and weekly Sunday services as well as leading workshops relating to worship. Over the last few years we have continued to write Holy Spirit-inspired, home-grown songs which has culminated in the upcoming release of our most recent full length album, Walk By Your Spirit."
Releasing on 21 January 2022, 'Walk By Your Spirit' is a collection of songs that each have a unique flavour, but come together cohesively as an expression of faith-building declarations from the heart towards our Father God. "Some of these songs trace their history back some years now to particular seasons in the life of our church, and we believe bringing them together with newer songs on this one album paints a beautiful picture of how God has been speaking to the church in timeless ways.
We want Jesus to be at the centre of people’s lives and our aim is for this music to be an avenue for the Holy Spirit to awaken hearts to the glory of Jesus Christ, strengthening the church in faith, hope and love. We’re praying these songs will go far and wide to aid both the local church here in South Africa, as well as the wider church around the world in their corporate worship."
