If someone were to ask me what Country music sounds like, this is the album I would reach for. This is quintessential, unadulterated Country music which makes no apologies for itself. I came to this realisation within the first 30 seconds of the opening track and, truthfully, it scared me. Don't get me wrong, I love country music, but mostly when it is infused with a bit of rock or a bit of pop, I am not one for the line-dancing, cowboy, hoedown style: that's just a bit much for me.However, this album seems to be everything country...
