Moriah Releases New Single 'Known, Seen, Loved'

Sep 21 2021

MORIAH, a Mexican-American recording artist, actress and academic, releases her latest single 'Known, Seen, Loved'. "I got this idea in the spring of 2019 and it wouldn't leave me alone", she admits. "It tormented me in the middle of the night, while walking my dog, driving a car or (my least favorite) right in the middle of a conversation! When I finally finished it, I was thankful that I never abandoned it because it's something I reckon we might all need reminding of right now. "

I was close to abandoning my calling so many times. But my husband Joel Smallbone would gently remind me that there is a reward to endurance - to pushing past insecurity into vulnerability", Moriah continues.

Moriah Peters Smallbone's sophomore album 'BRAVE ' hit number 9 on Billboard’s Christian Music Charts which included a collaboration with GRAMMY award-winning rapper Andy Mineo. Smallbone has since launched an alternative, all female band, called TRALA. In 2017, the group independently released its first single “Holy Collision” which ranked in Apple’s Top 40 Alternative chart and followed up with two additional singles, garnering a premiere with Ones To Watch for their song and corresponding video, “Gotcha.” A second wave of music came in 2019, starting with the sassy and honest single, “Talk, Talk, Talk” and wrapped with a 5 song EP called "Pray."
