Stephanie Osborn Releasing New Single 'Wait'
Texas based indie Christian artist Stephanie Osborn releases her latest single 'Wait' on September 17th. "In this song I tried to combine that feeling of hope with the sense of pain in waiting and write music that would express that bittersweet feeling", she explains.
"This song is written out of a couple bible verses that I have held close to my heart for a long time. Since 2011 I have been asking for The Lord to do certain things in my life and fulfill His promises to me. I'm still waiting for many of those things to happen and these verses have been a comfort to me through the past 10 years. Reading these promises over and over changes you. They invoke a sense of hope because they come from a God who cannot lie, even though the pain of not having what we desire shows up in a very tangible way as we wait."
"My style is very fluid and doesn't stick to specific genre conventions but it's mostly spiritual storytelling. I began writing music when I was 18 because I discovered I could more effectively communicate my feelings through song and poetry. I'm going to continue writing and releasing songs and growing my fanbase around the world."
