Sarah Teibo Teams Up With UK Gospel Heavy Weight On New Single 'Secure'

May 28 2021

Sarah Téibo follows her UK Christian Charts No 1 song ‘Victory’, with yet another release from her forthcoming album. She teams up with lead singer of MOBO award winning group, Volney Morgan of ‘Volney Morgan & New-Ye’ on the song ‘Secure’.

The new single ‘Secure’ is now available for preorder and will be available to download on all digital music platforms from 28th May.

Reflecting on how the song was created, Sarah says “Writing ‘Secure’ was one of the most extraordinary song-writing experiences I have ever had.

“I was out running and meditating one morning with my audio Bible plugged in, and was listening to the book of I Samuel which chronicled David’s experiences of being preserved from Saul and other foes.

“As I visualised this, I was so moved that I immediately began singing the chorus and bridge of the song. I didn’t even stop running, I whipped out my phone and recorded the rough idea, right there, mid-run! David recounts these seasons of his life in many Psalms and even today, as we read those verses of Scripture we too can see how God on many occasions preserves us from all sorts of harm.”

Packed with a rich Gospel sound and heartfelt declarations taken from the book of Psalms, ‘Secure’ brings a reminder of the peace and safety we find in the shadow of His wings and is produced by veteran UK producer Goziam Okogwu. Midway through the song, Volney ushers listeners into a victorious anthem and war cry, powerfully declaring God’s providence in the midst of adversity.

Secure’, which is the last single to be released prior to the full album set to hit the stores in July, is now available for preorder and will be available for streaming and download on all digital music platforms from 28th May 2021
