Ageless One and Taiyemi Release 'UK is OK' Single

Dec 07 2020

Ageless One and Taiyemi release their new single 'UK is OK', the signature song of 13 that were recorded live at the Ageless One Concert before the pandemic.

"It all began with a supernatural experience. I was made redundant in 2009 from an engineering position. After looking for work everywhere for a year (I applied to different parts of the world to no avail), the breakthrough came", explains Ageless One founder Tai Durojaiye.

"One Sunday morning, my wife, Yemi and I were in church and the guest minister on getting to the podium before he began to preach, started giving the word of the Lord, which was about me:

“There is a man here, you are a highly qualified professional but for some time now things have not been successful for you as they were before and no matter how hard you try, it appeared you are not making any visible headway. This has been a concern but right now the Holy Ghost is visiting that situation. There is a country in the European region and I see you going there to do something related to what you do and in that country will be the springboard for the Lord to use to move you back to where you were and higher …and within the next one and a half months, this will come to pass. It will be like Peter’s miracle when he launched [his net] into the deep..your deep point is this other European country and that is where the floodgate so to speak, of this, would open up”

To cut a long story short, I ended up in Norway! Then one morning as I was about to have my breakfast the Lord said: “go on the 40-day fast”. Without knowing what to expect, I started, and 2 to 3 days down the line, the deluge of original songs began to flood my heart (this was very different to the level of original songs Yemi and I used to receive when we worshipped together previously). This experience was different, anytime, or anywhere I go, the songs flowed, and it has never stopped. So, as a couple, we receive and write songs out of the overflow of this encounter with God, the Ageless One.

In 2012, we (Taiyemi, our stage name - Tai & Yemi) released our first album “As for My House”. Then the Lord led us to start the Ageless One Concert in 2013, as an annual event. The Ageless One Concert features other UK Gospel artists and the songs given to Taiyemi are performed/ministered at the event through a racially diverse team. To date, we have published over 70 songs out of over 500 that the Lord has given us. Another strand of the ministry includes: Ageless One Songwriting Seminar, Ageless One Worship Experience, and Ageless One Solemn Assembly."

Amidst the current uncertain times and the hopeless situation that our country and the world is facing, this song 'UK is OK' comes with a message of hope, that all will be OK. When the nation is OK, the citizens will be OK. God knew what was coming so He gave the song ahead of time and as we speak and sing the message of the song over our lives, families and over the nation, the difficult situation will be turned around.

Let us spread the word, sharing the message of this song with the nation. There will be healing, the dark cloud of depression and anxiety will be lifted. The economy will be buoyant again. The Lord said through this song, He will start the healing process in the land. Let hope come alive, let the healing begin, let us say it loud and say it strong: ‘UK is OK’!
