A Day Awaits Releases New Single 'Soar'
Intent on creating music for broken people of all walks of life, A Day Awaits brings an adventurous and energetic edge to the landscape of Christian music. The band releases their new single 'Soar' on October 23rd. Drawing from a diverse set of musical influences, their enchanting vocals, soaring guitars, and sincere lyrics pull on heartstrings, speaking fresh hope into harsh realities.
Two-time CFA Talent Search finalists (2016, 2018), A Day Awaits has performed at Kingdom Bound, Amplify Festival, Heavenfest, SoulFest, OneFest, and many others, sharing the stage with the likes of Newsboys, Matthew West, Jordan Feliz, Paul Baloche, Sanctus Real, Seventh Time Down, Unspoken, Kutless, Chris August, Remedy Drive, Stellar Kart, and more.
Their songs “Shattered Frames†and “Satellites†were selected as finalists in the Overall and Christian categories of the 2018 and 2019 Unsigned Only Music Competitions.
Adventure (2020), their most recent project, was produced by Stephen Leiweke, who has worked with artists such as Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, Ingrid Michaelson, and Lauren Daigle. The EP seeks to draw worship from the roots of the heart - not compartmentalized for formal gathering, but lived out in all aspects - life as an act of worship. These new songs recognize the authentic journey we take as seekers of Hope and assurance, highlighting not just the mountaintops but also learning to find joy even in the valleys.
