American rock band Falling Up have announced that they are to end. The band's lead singer Jessy Ribordy said that they are "taking a permanent break". Falling Up released their fifth studio album 'Fangs' in March 2009, having arrived on the music scene with their 2004 debut 'Crashings'.

"After touring extensively since we were 19 and 20 year olds, the lot of us have diverged into other areas in our lives and drifted away from the group known as Falling Up. We look forward to all of you finding us in our other projects and aspirations in life", said Jessy.

The band will play their final concert together at New Zealand's Parachute Festival this Friday 29th January.

Falling Up release New Album

The next album on which US rockers Falling Up promised a harder sound is going to be released by BEC Recordings in March 2009. The latest album is called 'Fangs' and was produced by Casey Crescenzo (The Deer Hunter, Receiving End…
