Bergeron grew up in Thibodaux, Louisiana - a small Cajun town near Bayou Lafourche - where his musical path began as a child. Taught piano by his mother at just four years old, he was playing in a nine-piece soul band by fourteen and working in New Orleans studios by seventeen. From Broadway to backroads, Bergeron says, “It wasn’t that I made a choice - music seemed to have chosen me.”
That same sense of calling pulses through “Jesus My Lord,” a deeply personal song born out of life’s storms. The opening lines reflect a heart weary from drifting:
“I’ve been tossed by the wind of this storm in my heart / I’ve been drifting too long to come in…”
But just when hope seems lost, a cry goes out - and Jesus answers:
“Then I reached out and called His name / Through the clouds of my life He came to me.”
