I’ve been making music since I was 14. I started performing in my youth group and then using my gift in the community.
Tell us about your new single 'Cap and Gown' and what the inspiration behind it was?
I was initially inspired by my youngest brother who was facing incredible odds in his teens. Long story short, he pulled himself together and completed his High School courses; that was the initial inspiration for this song.
Do you have any plans to release more music in the near future?
Yes, I have follow up singles that I plan to release this year.
What message would you like people to take from your music?
Love God. Love people.
How would you describe your style of music and what are your influences?
I’d describe my sound as Upper Class Rap. My style is lyrical and mature delivery over modern hip hop and trap beats.
If you could work with any songwriter, who would it be and why?
Lecrae. He’s the face of modern CHH and has inspired me in many ways.
How would you define success in your career as an artist?
Me having the ability to easily deliver high value content (music/videos) to an expecting and supportive community on an ongoing basis.
What is your favorite album of all time?
Christology in Laymen’s Terms by The Ambassador.
