Since Solange’s first single, “I Surrender,” released in June, the singer/songwriter, who is Metis (Cree, French, and Ojibwe,) pre-released her EP “The Answer” as a limited edition CD and has been attracting and connecting with listeners in over 20 countries. “Into the Light” comes out in time for Canada’s holiday, Truth and Reconciliation Day, on Sept 30 and the United State’s Indigenous Peoples Day which is on Oct 14.
