"Depression is real, and I found myself in a dark place,” Rhonda states. "I pushed singing to the side because it didn’t feel the same anymore. Nevertheless, my heart has always said, not my will, but Thy will be done.”
Understanding that her gift is not her own and accepting the call to continue ministering to God's people, Rhonda returned to the microphone and has a new single, "God Loves You."
Her new single, 'God Loves You', penned by Marcus Jordan and produced by Terrance Ruffin, marks a significant milestone in Rhonda's career. It is now available on all digital platforms, released under the Marcus Jordan Music Group label.
“When Marcus presented the opportunity to sing God Loves You, I knew it was God and that the song was for me," Rhonda explains. "My hope is to convey to listeners that no matter where they are in life or what they’ve done, they can still receive God’s love. It’s a simple, foundational truth that can be life-changing.”
Marcus Jordan is a multiple chart-topping, award-winning artist, songwriter, and producer. His CALL ON THE NAME album debuted at #3 on iTunes Christian/Gospel chart, with the title track soaring to #1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart. On June 8, she will be the guest psalmist at the 20th Annual Women of Wisdom Conference in Houston, TX. Furthermore, she will be honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award at The HER Awards 2024 on Saturday, June 1, in Houston.
