Blessing punctuated the long-awaited release Real with a performance of “Lift Me Up” on Today with Jenna and Friends. “Lift Me Up” has quickly won the hearts of new fans and old having quickly surpassed 5 million streams in the short amount of time it has been available. Real features 16 deeply personal songs created during a season of profound loss. In just 18 months, Blessing lost his sister, best friend and partner, as well as his mother. Rather than bottling up his feeling Blessing took the emotional wounds and forged them into art.
