There is a whole group of people with unmet needs and cry’s for help, yet we pass them everyday. Robin’s latest CD, 'Songs For The Unseen', navigates it’s way through the journey of the believer who doesn’t seem to fit the narrative of today’s Christian life. It touches on depression, in “Shadow Me,” or persecution in the song, “Let em’ Dance In The Rain,” as well as, the waxing cold of a believer in “Draw Me Nigh.” Her latest version of “Tidal Wave,” with producer Barry Weeks and Lyricist Brian White of Nashville, serves to grab the attention of its listener to Gods overwhelming love.
"There are those whom you know or pass each day, that go unnoticed by many, but they are not unnoticed by God", explains Robin. "He sees, He knows and loves His own ... There are those who know God yet suffer with some form of mental illness. It is hard for anyone of us to understand this but we must love and encourage the Body of Christ to come alongside His own. This CD is inspired by those of us who are hidden yet seen by The Almighty. His love endures forever!"
Robin has over 20 years of musical experience in various genres of music. She majored in voice performance at Florida State University, studied classical voice with faculty at the North Carolina School of Arts, and performed with Atlanta and Winston-Salem Symphony’s. For her latest CD release, 'Songs for the Unseen', Robin teamed up with co-writer Eva Wilson and veteran musician, composer, and producer Randy Younger of Moon Ridge Studios.
