There is something very uplifting about this album. Jamison Strain has that kind of vocal, the kind of vocal you can trust from the moment you hear him sing. Not many singers can do that, you seem to feel at ease when he is singing so he has this instant likeability. If you then mix that with a bunch of quality songs, like on this album, you have a sure fire hit.
Interestingly Jamison has a good mix of music genres on this album. From foot thumping country inspired I'm Alive to the modern pop/rock synth-heavy I Look To You...
