Detling is a 6 day summer conference that takes place each year at the Detling Showground in Kent. Teaching, ministry and worship fills the days for young and old. The worship is led by Helen Gallagher and Leigh Barnard and their band who appear frequently on this live worship album from the 2010 event, 'Rise Run Reign'. Also making an appearance is Graham Kendrick who leads some of the tracks on this album.
Rise Run Reign was mixed by acclaimed producer Paul Burton, who makes sure the recording of this album captures the live singing and praises to God.

On the album is a good mix of songs that I knew and some that I didn't know so well. The album starts with Yfriday's Alive. It also has Tim Hughes' Everything and Graham Kendrick leading a version of his classic song Knowing You, still as powerful today as it was back then, which are all great songs are.
Then there was some songs I hadn't heard before, including the powerful All Will Be Well, Jesus Is King and Breathe Heaven's Air which has a soft yet sturdy chorus of "So Come Holy Spirit, Rain down upon us", with formidable vocals from Helen.
If you were at this years event I'm sure you will be first in line to purchase this live album, with each of these songs showing the amazing times of worship that happened at Detling. If you want to experience what happens at Detling, this is the album to buy.
