This new album from Elim Sound is their most collaborative release to date. Nearly two years in the making, this project began by gathering many writers together over two sessions in both Malvern and London. With over 90 song ideas for this album and with 28 writers involved, the team chose the final album tracks through a feedback process.

'ONE' features 15 new songs that have come from 19 different writers. These new Elim Sound writers include Chris and Abby Eaton, Mark Stone, Lucy Rose Garnish, Suzanne Hanna and Fiona Crow. Elim Sound also brought in some new voices on the project, including Alex Davis (Cardiff), Shell Perris (Malvern) and Nathan Jess (Portadown, Ireland). The album title was inspired by Elim’s theme for 2018 ‘One movement - One mission. 'One' was produced by Ian Yates, engineered and mixed by Trevor Michael and mastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road.

Elim Sound have a rich heritage than spans an entire century and are the product of the collective skill and passion of members of a new generation currently emerging within the UK’s Elim Pentecostal Churches.  Bringing together a community of worship leaders, pastors and creatives from the Elim movement and beyond, Elim Sound are committed to inspiring, encouraging and equipping the church in worship.

At its heart, this is an album that feels so fresh with what it brings. This isn’t a bunch of worship leaders sitting still musically. These are worship leaders who are crafting and pushing each other to the next level, musically and creatively.

There are so many wonderful moments on this release. The haunting 'Still God' is a amazing standout moment of the album. 'Be Moved' is a wonderful atmospheric, intimate worship track with some truly wonderful vocals.

Actually there are so many beautiful moments on this album, it's hard not to spend the time naming each one. Yet for me the main pull of this album is that each song has its own character and place in the album.

To be fair this is a long album, that is a good thing, because there is so much music to dig into. Fifteen tracks is amazing, and as said earlier each song is there to add its own character to the story of this album. And what a wonderful story this album tells from start to finish.
