This is C3's latest worship album named There's A Light which is 5 tracks of worship songs that have come out of the church over the last few years. The majority of the songs are written by Wayne Sanders with Rich Harris & Pete Goodliffe adding a contribution to the writing of this collection of songs. The EP was produced in house with the musicians, engineers and designers of the members of the church. For those who don’t know, C3 is a church based in Cambridge, England, called Cambridge Community Church.

For those who don’t know, C3 is a church based in Cambridge, England, called Cambridge Community Church.

The album has its anthem moments which can be heard in the title track There’s A Light which has a hint of sounding like early Robbie Williams. Another anthem that will get you singing is the track Standing Before You. The quiet and reflective song You Reign on High adds a perfect balance to this EP, going from out and out praise moments to the simple reflective moments of this track. Forevermore goes from a stunning acoustic start to a powerful build up, that takes the song to another level.

The more I listened to this EP, the more it grew on me. This EP has five amazing tracks that are passionate about explaining God’s glory to the listener. The extra bonus track of the acoustic version of the title track is an enjoyable addition. This will help people learn a different way of playing the song, which could be used in times of worship in a small group setting. I personally couldn’t get the title track There’s a Light out of my head during the week, which shows how much of a great track it is. I couldn't stop singing the chorus “There’s a light that’s shining on the earth, A light unto the nations, Hope for the world, There’s A Light that’s Shining on the Earth, Jesus you’re the Light”. Amazing stuff. Each track is sung with passion, and is full of lyrics that are about the amazing sides of God’s Grace. This EP captures the worship that is coming out of this church in Cambridge and a great tool for people to use in their time of worship.
