After the success of his last album, Chris August is ready to show the world his new release The Maker.The album starts with title track ’The Maker’, which is an up-tempo number that leans its musical style towards the Matthew West/Jimmy Needham modern pop rock sound. This complete package of a song has a lovely chord sequence in the chorus that brings the song out of its shell. The song has some great lines, but I especially love this one ”I feel like I can climb a thousand mountains all at once”. Something very powerful about that....
