Ayaba Releasing New Single 'Dreams'

Singer/Songwriter Ayaba, who explores the Nigerian British experience through music, releases her latest single 'Dreams' (feat. Asho) on all streaming platforms on the 22nd May 2020.

Discussing the new single, Ayaba explains "This song was inspired by a period in my academic journey where I felt really drained and discouraged. I then remembered this: 'No matter where you are from your dreams are valid' - Lupita Nyong'o. Our dreams are worth fighting for! I hope you enjoy listening to the track as much as I loved creating it."

Ayaba is a Nigerian British singer and songwriter who shares life experiences through the music she creates, which is greatly influenced by the blend of cultures she was exposed to growing up. Her sound is considered to be soulful, deep and original. With inspiration from Yoruba folk music to neo-soul artist such as Jill Scott and more her sound creates unique moments in which audiences connect with the stories told recreating the African storytelling art.

'Dreams' follows on from Ayaba's single 'These Things', released last year, and 'Stranger's Land', released in 2018.
