Jelani Aswad was born and raised in the New York Tri-State area. He and his wife Niasia have three children and have been married since 2011. Jelani has traveled as a professional vocalist and recording artists for 16 years. Jelani Aswad has shared the stage with some of the most notable names in Christianity. This includes great leaders like Francis Chan, James Nam Soo Kim, Tim Keller, and John Piper. Jelani presides over The Launching Pad Music Group as its Chief Operating Officer.
As a recording artist, he released his first single, "King of Zion" featuring gospel music recording artist, Geoffrey Golden. Jelani Aswad's full-length album is in stores now at digital music outlets everywhere. Jelani is passionate about pastoring the next generation of leaders. This includes worship leaders, musicians, creatives, and recording artists. Jelani has a degree in Pastoral Ministry and a minor in Bible and Theology from Nyack College. He is a licensed minister with the C&MA. He serves as one of the Worship Pastors at Grace Missionary Church located in Cleveland Ohio.
