InSalvation Introduce New Single 'Exodus' Leading Up To Album Release

Jan 26 2020

It is a timeless story with a current message: a people leaving behind a life of slavery and making the journey towards the promised land. The story of the people of Israel told in the book of Exodus serves as a metaphor for Dutch worship band InSalvation's new single and upcoming album with Integrity Music, both named after it. The album is now available for pre-order. With each advance order, the song 'Exodus' is available as an instant download.

"This is the time for freedom,
We will follow You,
This is our Exodus."

'Exodus' (written by Jafeth Bekx, Andy Stuijfzand, Tom Smith and Kees Kraayenoord) is the fourth single and title track from InSalvation’s upcoming album, marking a leap forward for the band as they deliver a fresh sound of worship with conviction and clarity. The song was written as a declaration of faith to follow God’s promises wherever they lead, mirroring Israel’s journey from the bondage of Egypt to following God’s Word towards the promised land. “Everybody has an ‘Egypt’ in their life,” says lead singer Jafeth Bekx, “We can leave it behind and join as one people, making our way to the land and the future that is promised to us.”

The video for 'Exodus' contains footage shot at the North Sea, referencing the waves of life that seem to often block our path and rock our foundations. The song is an ode to rise above, encouraging believers to follow the promise of God and embrace the freedom that lies ahead. Sonically, the single also makes a bold statement with punchy EDM beats and a modern expression of worship that made heads turn since InSalvation’s start.

Single 'Exodus' is available from 24th January 2020 on all major digital channels such as Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify. InSalvation’s new album 'Exodus' is set to release on 7th February 2020 through Integrity Music.
