Worship Leader Mack Brock Makes Inspired Return with Critically Acclaimed 'Covered'

Mar 23 2019

Worship leader Mack Brock released his latest Covered, available now. Documenting the five-time Dove award nominee's own hopes, dreams, fears and anxieties in the midst of uncharted territory, the EP has earned the praise of critics, with Hallels dubbing the compilation "everything we have grown to love about Mack: heartfelt Christ-centered songs sung in his inimitable signature style."

Called a "vulnerable collection" by The Christian Beat with "heartfelt lyrics and compelling vocals that are sure to connect on a deep level with all listeners," Today's Christian Entertainment adds, "Covered offers a faith strengthening listening experience that calls hearts toward a loving God as the lyrics shine a light into the gloom & despair threatening to take over our lives."
“These songs have been me wrestling with God - fighting to accept that it's ok to let go and hand things over to Him. To trust Him,” shared Mack. “Letting go doesn’t always take away the stress or anxiety right away but it does give us the grace and peace we need to walk through it. To find rest in his presence, his sovereignty, his love and trust that we are ‘covered’ by Him."

The follow up to his critically acclaimed solo-project, Greater Things, which has garnered over 10 million streams globally since the debut’s release last fall, Covered is the continuation of the multifaceted creator's sojourn, an expression of Mack's total reliance and dependence on God. Since going to radio last Friday, the album's title track has been added to 27 stations, debuting at No. 28 on the Christian Airplay chart.

Following the release of Covered, Mack will join the Hillsong UNITED USA Tour 2019 on their coast to coast trek along with Bethel Music's Amanda Cook. The tour will make stops in major markets across the U.S. including Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Washington, DC and New York, NY, transforming amphitheaters and arenas throughout the nation into nights of worship.
