Andy Cleary Releases Solo Album 'Messages'

Dec 22 2018

Singer/Songwriter Andy Cleary has released his solo album 'Messages'. "Every song has written to give glory and honour to my wonderful Saviour, Jesus Christ, who saved me from a lost eternity and transformed my life", explains Andy.

"'Messages' came together as a result of worshiping God over the last 20+ years. Some songs were written in the early days, when my Faith was beginning to blossom, and the Lord was doing a great work in my life. As my walk with Jesus became closer, and in response to some of the things going on in the world, I felt passionately led to write some more songs, that reflected what God was laying on my heart at that time.

Each song was written with just an acoustic guitar in mind, but thanks to my good friend, and brother in the Lord, Paul Gronow, and his encouragement, musical and recording talent, inspiration and musical production, each song has been transformed into this finished CD."

A lifelong musician, Andy's music took a dramatic change when he discovered God. "I have been a musician for 40 years, playing mostly secular music, from Clapton to Hendrix. One Sunday morning, about 23 years ago, whilst attending the church opposite my house, I had a God moment", explains Andy. "Something that morning touched my heart, and a few months later I realised that I had just met with Jesus and that I was born again. My life from that moment was changed forever."
