New Single 'Days Be Gone' From Artist Shane Morgan
Up and coming christian singer and songwriter, Shane Morgan inspires us to forget the past and look to the future in faith with his new single 'Days Be Gone' .
Built on a strong foundation of faith, family and a love for song, Shane Morgan releases his first single, sharing in his journey back to Christ and the small town that built him. With unique vocals and subtle instrumental style, “Days Be Gone” catches the essence of what it means to be saved.
“We all are haunted by our past trials and mistakes, but as we grow in our relationship with Christ, we realize that through Him, those days are gone,” Shane said. “In Jeremiah 29:11 the Lord says, ‘For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a new future.’ I wrote this song as a reminder to all of us that the past is in the past, and because of God’s grace, we have hope for a new future.”
Shane Morgan was born in Glendora, California and moved with his family to the small town of Adin, California at the age of four. Growing up in a small town of 250 people, Shane was engaged in a lot of community activities, such as the local church’s after school program. This is where he developed his raw talent for music, learning how to play the piano, drums, guitar, bass and ukulele all by ear. Shane began writing songs in high school and continued after graduation, taking him outside of his small town as well as his comfort zone.
After spending a few years traveling California, pursuing a music career but losing sight of God’s purpose, he found his way back to his home town of Adin and into the welcoming arms of his small church family. There he became a worship leader and re-found his love for Christ and passion for music. Shane met his wife Emily and reside in Northern California, raising their daughter, Joy and continue to worship in the same tiny church.
Shane’s lyrics touch the hearts of the faithful, playing into the darkest and brightest corners of our lives with hope and grace. Shane challenges us through song to explore the presence of Jesus in our lives, hoping to guide many more to His light. Shane Morgan writes and records songs sharing in his own experiences of faithful inspiration, hope and happiness that only comes through the grace of God.
