CLOUDLAND Release Second EP 'Seasons'

Jul 04 2018

Four-piece rock band CLOUDLAND have released their second EP 'Seasons', following their 2017 self titled debut EP. Consisting of Hogan Heim, Zach King , Drake Bunton and Karmen Smith, the four best friends are from the town of Fayetteville, GA.

"If anyone knows anything about Fayetteville, it's that after about eight o'clock everything in town closes down", explains the band. "So, on a Friday night the only thing for us to do was to make rock and roll in someone's basement. After about a year of messing around with songwriting and original material, we sat down to talk about getting serious. We all came to the conclusion that if we were gonna take a shot at pursuing music seriously, we were gonna do it together.

In January of 2017, we cut our first four song EP. The unique thing about this group is that with every member comes a different musical influence. Hogan (Guitar) loves Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots, Drake (Bass) is influenced by Green Day & Kings Of Leon, Karmen (Drums) frequently plays Paramore, and Zach (Guitar/Vocals) learns from Johnny Cash.

We hope these vast and different musical influences contribute to a completely new sound for our fans. We assure you we aren't just another pop band looking for fame. We're just four guys pursuing a passion to create and perform the best music we can offer. We want our music to be for people, for all people. Whether you've got it all figured out or you're falling apart, we hope these songs speak to you. At the end of the day, we are just four hometown guys with a drive to make something special. After all, we're not being anyone if we're not being us."
