Billboard Music Awards Nominations For Mercy Me, Elevation Worship, Hillsong Worship

The nominees for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards were revealed yesterday (April 17th). The winners will be announced during the 2018 Billboard Music Awards show which will broadcast LIVE coast to coast in the US from MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, May 20th at 8 P.M. ET / 5 P.M. PT on NBC.

Multi-platinum selling band MercyMe reaped nominations in all three Christian Music categories - Top Christian Artist, Top Christian Album ('LIFER') and Top Christian Song ('Even If'). The most recent crop of nods marks a dozen career nominations for the band. 'LIFER' is MercyMe's most recent No. 1 album, and holds the nominated 'Even If' which dominated the Billboard and Mediabase radio charts with a 19-week streak at No. 1.

Also nominated in all three categories are both Elevation Worship ('There Is A Cloud') and Hillsong Worship ('Let There Be Light'), whilst Hillsong UNITED ('Wonder') and Zach Williams ('Old Church Choir') both received two nominations.

In the Gospel Music categories, there were nominations in all three categories for Anthony Brown ('A Long Way From Sunday'), Travis Greene ('Crossover: Live From Music City') and J.J. Hairston ('You Deserve It'), whilst there were two nominations each for Tasha Cobbs Leonard ('Heart. Passion. Pursuit') and Tamela Mann ('Change Me').
