Sidewalk Prophets Release Debut CD 'These Simple Truths'
Sidewalk Prophets released their debut CD 'These Simple Truths' yesterday (25th August). The band, consisting of Ben McDonald, Dave Frey, Cal Joslin and Justin Nace, worked with popular music producer Ian Eskelin (All Star United) on the album. "Ian was intense, full of energy and ideas," Ben says. "We just clicked. He figured out who we were and then figured out how to elevate everything, vocally and musically, to the next level. He knew how to take our gifts and make them better. He is amazingly focused and yet totally outside the box."
The band have already toured more than 150 dates this year, and have shared the stage with acts like MercyMe, Michael W. Smith, Jeremy Camp, Audio Adrenaline and others.
The album is described as "sparkling pop, raucous rock, and beautiful ballads that will convince even the most jaded listener that these guys know how to craft intelligent, inspired music that fits comfortably inside the box, but may not be content to stay there."
