British based singer Amy Sanders has just released her solo debut worship EP 'The Journey'.
Having grown up on the beautiful coast of North Devon in England, Amy Sanders began singing and writing songs from a very young age. Singing around the house and in school plays eventually led to her honing her gift in her local church as a backing vocalist, alongside her brother. As the years went by she grew quickly in confidence and ability, and bigger challenges and opportunities came her way.
In 2012 she was part of a collective of five young, like-minded friends who wrote and recorded a collection of songs in an attempt to bless their community and encourage their Church. The band was called Nova and their only release (entitled 'Shine Your Glory') was filled with raw energy, enthusiasm, kingdom-focused passion and incredibly honest lyrics, and received plaudits and support from across the world. Nova took part in festivals and events across the UK alongside established acts such as Rend Collective.
Since taking the lead on this project, Amy has been channeling her faith, passion for music and heart for young people into training and equipping others to share their gift of music with their church community and beyond, besides leading worship at numerous youth events across the South West (such as United Generation) and regularly at Grosvenor Church Barnstaple.
