Kenya's Mwania Releases Debut Single 'Psalms 139'

Nov 16 2017

Matthew "Mwania" Masyuko, an award-winning film maker and singer from Nairobi, Kenya in East Africa, has released his debut single 'Psalms 139'.

"To celebrate my birthday I went to the studio and released a single last month and would like to share it to the world", says Matthew.

"20 years ago I learnt how to play guitar and wrote a couple of songs inspired by the Bible. 20 years later and on my birthday I finally mustered up the courage to record. This is the first studio recording of an uplifting worship song from Psalms 139. There is plenty more to come. My prayer is that my songs will do whatever God intended them to do."

Mwania is a award-winning film maker and singer. Singing however took a back seat for over 20 years but 2017 marked a return to playing guitar and recording original compositions.
