Divine Attraction Draw Inspiration From Czech Republic For 'Captivated' Single

May 29 2015

Divine Attraction, originally from Los Angeles, have just released 'Captivated', the first single from their forthcoming new album 'Let it Rise'.

"It's fun, feel good vibe captures the essence of being captivated by Love", explains the band.

Currently living in the Czech Republic doing mission work with Exit Tour, the band are traveling around the country putting on concerts.

Divine Attraction consists of Cory Simon, Alex Becerra, Mike Oviedo, and Brian Bothwell. "It has been our desire from the beginning to be about something much bigger than music. More than a band writing songs, we have maintained a passion for people knowing their purpose in Christ with everything we do", they continue.

Discussing the new album, the band says, "We are working with a great friend, Wil Pearce who is absolutely amazing at what he does. Together we are creating an album that tells a story about a nation that not only went through a lot with communism, but a country that has gone through a lot spiritually.

It has been such a learning experience as we have studied and learned about this amazing country.

I don't want to give too much away about the album, but we are pouring our hearts into this as we understand the weight of the reach we have, and want to make sure we are using our platform the best we can for God."
