UK Worship Collective Room 1 Project Release Self-Titled Debut

May 27 2015

New worship collective Room 1 Project has just released it's self-titled debut album. Recorded in a living room, influenced by the likes of United Pursuit and Cageless Birds, the tracks are raw and close. The result is this: absorbing worship which is accessible in its simplicity for worshippers of all ages and denominations, and is fit for living rooms, churches and arenas alike.

The group is a collaboration of musicians, singers, and songwriters from churches across the Black Country, UK. Their sound, with its rich warmth, acoustic style, and pure, distinctive vocals, is full of passion and a resounding joy.

Established in 2011, the ‘Project’ was a group of 16 friends from six local churches gathering to worship together. During these evenings of worship, spontaneous songs were sung and later written.

Held in the first room of the local rehearsal studios, the Room 1 Project became a regular event of encountering God through prayer and music. This is the heart and hope of the Room 1 Project: that the whole earth would know and love Him.

Over the last year, the group has recorded its first album, which is available now on iTunes. These anthems of heartfelt praise are already being sung across the Black Country, UK.
