Jimmy Needham To Release 'Vice & Virtue' Album

Mar 19 2015

Jimmy Needham will release his new album 'Vice & Virtue' on 5th May 2015.

"I can't wait for you to hear this", said the singer/songwriter ahead of its release. "Over the coming weeks, we'll have more updates and a link on how to pre-order the album. There will be a Vice and Virtue tour this Fall. There will be more tour announcements over the next few weeks."

In an interview with Louder Than The Music, Jimmy explained where his musical influences come from. "I grew up listening to soul music as a kid: Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jackson 5, B.B. King, etc. I just love the passion of that musical style. Lyrically, I’ve really been impacted by guys like Keith Green, Derek Webb, Lecrae, Ross King, Lauryn Hill and Nichole Nordeman. Honest lyrics and soulful sounds.

When I end my career years from now, I hope that I can look back and know, whether it furthered my notoriety or not, that I did those things that most furthered the notoriety of Jesus."
