Resound Worship Releases First Album 'Christmas Songs'

Dec 10 2014

Resound Worship has released its first studio album, 'Christmas Songs'. The recording features 12 beautiful, fresh arrangements of original Christmas songs, including two brand new songs.

Produced by Dan & Matt Weeks, the album features Troy Miller on drums and Finland's Lasse Sakara on lap steel, with guest vocal performances from Gemma White, Sarah Bird and Chris Sayburn, and mixed by Nashville's Shane D Wilson.

The album is available now from Resound Worship, where a video for each of the 12 tracks on the album is being released every Monday until Christmas.

Resound Worship is a group of British worship-songwriters, seeking to resource the church with heartfelt, crafted, accessible worship songs. "We meet on a regular basis to critique each other's songs and the conversations continue through a web forum, where we post and refine material. Once they have been through this process, and the songs have been tested on our home churches, we send the lyrics to an external theological critique group", explains the group.
