Winners Announced At The 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards

The winners of the 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards were announced last night. Hillsong UNITED took home 5 honors, including the coveted Artist of the Year and Song of the Year trophies.

Switchfoot and Skillet joined Hillsong UNITED as multiple winners of the evening. Co-hosted by Lecrae and MercyMe's Bart Milliard, the awards drew a record attendance at the Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University. The entire show will be broadcast exclusively on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, 12th October 2014.

Other winners included Chris Tomlin for Songwriter of the Year, Kari Jobe's 'Majestic' earning Praise and Worship Album of the Year, and Michael W. Smith's 'Hymns' earning Inspirational Album of the Year.
