S. Africa's Niel Higgins Wins Award For 'The Noise We Make' Feat. StuG & Brenton Brown

Jan 22 2014

South African worship singer/songwriter Niel Higgins has won the SABC Crown Award for best rock gospel album for his second worship album, 'The Noise We Make'.

The album, recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, was produced by Daniel Ornellas (Tree63) and features guest musicians including Stu G (Delirious?), Jaci Velasquez and Brenton Brown.

Niel hopes that this album takes people into a place of falling in love with Jesus all over again. Niel's passion involves inspiring others to make a noise for Him by loving people as loudly as we can. Everything we do is just another sound to this never-ending love melody that sings about God.

He has been writing worship songs for church for the last 13 years. He has been a worship leader since he was 19 years old and serving in his local church.

Niel's first album 'Microphones on Street Corners' (2011) gave a glimpse of Niel's heart towards God. The album received great reviews and is still making waves in the worship scene.
