Sheffield based band The Gentlemen are currently preparing to release their eagerly anticipated third studio album 'Departures' on 18th November 2013.

The band have launched a Pledge Music campaign to fund the album, with various rewards on offer to those who pledge. "Your help will enable us to complete the album, hit the airwaves, put the show on the road and keep the tour van ticking", explain the band.

"That's why we're offering you the new album, plus signed CDs, rarities and tons of exciting experiences, including music lessons with Josh, tickets to the album preview party, afternoon tea with us and even the opportunity to have The Gentlemen play in your very own home to you and all your family and friends!

The best bit is, no matter what you decide to pledge on, you will automatically receive a download of the album plus access to our exclusive pledgers only updates page in which we’ll be posting photos, demos, blogs, videos from the studio and much more!"

New album 'Departures' is described by the band as their "most exciting studio album to date", and will feature recent single 'Lights of Tokyo' plus 'New York Girl' and 'Words'.

The Gentlemen have been writing, recording and touring their own songs since 2005. They have gained a strong fan base throughout Europe and the UK. Marrying the worlds of electro-pop and indie, The Gentlemen have been described as "Brilliant" by Dermot O'Leary who invited them to play on his Radio 2 show in June 2013. The band have previously released two albums, 'Smile Back At Me' (2007) and 'A Candid History of Faith Hope Love' (2009).
