Female Pop Band 1 Girl Nation Arrive With Self-Titled Debut Album

Aug 19 2013

All-female pop band 1 Girl Nation release their self-titled debut album this week. The album includes first single 'While We're Young', which was released in July.

"Landing in the space where One Direction meets TobyMac, 1 Girl Nation is an exciting blend of upbeat, relevant pop music, with lyrics that are totally focused on living life for God, even while you're young", says Reunion Records.

"With an eclectic range of influences, 1 Girl Nation offers a fun-spirited, musically adventurous outing on its album due August 20, on which the girls co-wrote more than half of the songs, collaborating with such noted writers as Jason Ingram, Kipp Williams and Tony Wood, among others.

The girls trade lead vocals on all 10 of the sparkling pop gems on the group's energetic debut, 1 Girl Nation, which relays powerful messages about self-worth, true beauty and living out your purpose in life."

1 Girl Nation consists of five 20-24 year-old girls, Carmen, Kayli, Kelsey, Lauryn Taylor, and Lindsey.

Audiences in the US and Canada will have the chance to hear new songs from 1 Girl Nation's debut album and experience its contagious live performance when the group joins the 50-city 'Secret Keeper Girl Crazy Hair' tour beginning this month.
