Newsboys Relese New Single 'Live With Abandon' Ahead Of New Album 'Restart'
Newsboys have released their new single 'Live With Abandon' this week ahead of the release of their forthcoming new studio album 'Restart', due on 10th September 2013.
The new single is available to download from iTunes and Amazon (see buy links, right) and has already been released to US radio.
'Live With Abandon' is about finding more to life and features a trademark Newsboys chorus: "I wanna live with abandon, Give You all that I am. Every part of my heart Jesus, I place in Your hands."
Explaining the inspiration behind the song, frontman Michael Tait says, "When you think about living with abandon, letting go, dying to yourself and letting God take control, that's basically the gospel".
Newsboys have been experiencing a new lease of life since former DC Talk singer Michael Tait took over as lead singer, selling over 800,000 albums in the past 3 years. The band released 'Born Again' in 2010, followed by 'God's Not Dead' in 2011. Last year they released 'Newsboys Live in Concert: God's Not Dead', their first live album since Tait joined.
