Andy Hunter Releases Remix EP 'Glowing Collision'

Mar 11 2013

British DJ Andy Hunter releases his new remix EP today. 'Glowing Collision' features new versions of seven tracks originally taken from his latest EPs 'Glow' and 'Collide'.

Discussing opening track 'Glow' in an interview with Louder Than The Music, Andy said "Back in February [2012] I had the chance to go to Kolkata with the charity Compassion UK to see up close the work that they do and also have the privilege of meeting the boy that my wife and I sponsor.

Needless to say the trip was very challenging and life changing. I was reading Isaiah 58 as well at the time where it talks about how we should serve the poor and if we do that God will make us Glow"
, he continues.

"So I wrote the track with Monique Thomas who is the featured vocalist and also who I met on the Compassion trip. In the breakdown of the track you can hear a recording of my sponsored child and his school mates as they performed a song."

Andy recently remixed a track for the new Thousand Foot Krutch EP, and his music has been used in numerous movies, including The Matrix: Reloaded (trailer), Sky High (trailer), Tomb Raider 2 (trailer), The Italian Job, and ABC's hit TV series Alias. His work has also been featured in a handful of video games including SSX 3 and Black Hawk Down.

'Glowing Collision' Track Listing:
1. Glow (Maxem Remix)
2. Spiral (Robbie Bronnimann Remix)
3. Collide (Mark Webb Remix)
4. On Automatic (Lenin ViD Remix)
