David Crowder Launches New Tour Ahead Of Solo Album & DCB Essential Collection

Feb 18 2013

Critically acclaimed artist and songwriter David Crowder, former frontman of the David Crowder Band, is to launch his own tour under the name Crowder ahead of a forthcoming debut solo album and new greatest hits album for his old band.

Crowder is set to kick off his US 'It'll Cure What Ails Ya' Tour on 27th February 2013 in Atlanta. Crowder, as part of an eight-piece bluegrass-ish collective, will venture across the US exclusively playing small and intimate clubs. Joining him on the 20-plus date tour is new duo Stetson & Cia.

The David Crowder Band will release 'All This For A King: The Essential Collection' on 21st May 2013. The 15-track album is set to feature fan favorites including three new remixes, plus a much-anticipated bonus track from Crowder, an exclusive sneak peak at what's next from Crowder's solo debut.

As part of the David Crowder Band, he was embraced for his lyrically powerful and musically elaborate and unpredictable songs that have found themselves being sung everywhere from churches to clubs. In November 2012, Crowder released his first solo project since the band that shared his name ended. 'Crowder: iTunes Session' delivered nine stripped down organic tracks to many of Crowder's most loved originals.
