Fiction Family Featuring Switchfoot's Jon Foreman Release Free EP Ahead Of New Album

Ahead of the second full-length album from Fiction Family, the partnership which feature's Switchfoot's Jon Foreman and Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), the band have released a free six-song EP on NoiseTrade (see below).

The group will follow up their 2009 self-titled debut release with new album 'Fiction Family Reunion' on 29th January 2013. The new album finds the duo joined by touring bassist Tyler Chester and drummer Aaron Redfield, with Foreman and Watkins leading on vocals and guitars.

The forthcoming ten-track album includes songs such as the tender 'Damaged' and the soulful first single, 'Up Against The Wall', and was recorded at Switchfoot's Spot X Studio in Carlsbad, California over a series of sessions spanning 2010 to early 2012, the lengthy process necessitated by Foreman and Watkins' always busy schedules.

Fiction Family will celebrate the release of 'Fiction Family Reunion' with a major North American tour in January presented by To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.
