Amy Grant Starts Writing New Album, Dates In Holland, N.Ireland & England During July

International singer/songwriter Amy Grant will play three dates in Europe this July as she performs her 'Acoustic and Unplugged' set. Amy will visit Holland, Northern Ireland and England as part of her 2012 tour.

Known as The Queen of Christian Pop, Amy is the best-selling Christian music singer of all time having sold over 30 million units worldwide. She will perform in Aalsmeerderbrug, Holland on 6th July, before heading to the UK for dates in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 7th and Union Chapel in London on 8th.

Amy released her latest album 'Somewhere Down The Road' in 2010, her first album of new music in seven years. The singer has been taking time in recent weeks to begin writing songs for her next album which is tentatively planned for release in late 2012 or early 2013.

Having won six Grammy Awards and 25 Dove Awards, Amy was the first Christian artist to ever have a Platinum album, with 'Heart in Motion' having sold over five million copies in the US alone, with the album including her Number 1 single 'Baby Baby'.
