Passion 'White Flag' Enters Top 5 Of Billboard 200 Chart As Vancouver Tour Date Arrives
As the Passion World Tour arrives in Vancouver, Canada, today, 23rd March 2012, the latest live album 'White Flag' has landed at number 5 on the US Billboard Top 200 mainstream album chart, the first time any Passion-related album has made the top 10.
Selling more than 48,000 units in its first week the album is also number 1 on the Top Christian Albums chart. Recorded live at Passion 2012 in the Georgia Dome, Atlanta back in January, the 14 track album features music from worship leaders including Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Kristian Stanfill, Christy Nockels and Charlie Hall, plus the final live performance from David Crowder Band. A Deluxe Bonus Edition is also available on iTunes featuring 3 additional tracks.
'White Flag' skyrocketed to Number 4 on the iTunes Top Albums Overall Chart upon its release, with the deluxe version currently Number 1 on the Christian iTunes chart and the regular version holding the Number 2 position.
The Passion World Tour in Vancouver tonight features Passion founder Louie Giglio along with Chris Tomlin, David Crowder and Kristian Stanfill. Future 2012 tour dates are to be announced soon in Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa.
