Ryan Baker-Barnes Debut Album 'The Deepest Part' Set For Release

Feb 03 2012

British-based African-born worship leader Ryan Baker-Barnes will release his debut solo album 'The Deepest Part' on 21st February 2012. The 10-track project was recorded and produced by Julian Kindred (Delirious?, Phatfish) and features musicians Dan Wheeler (Cathy Burton, Graham Kendrick), Joe Clegg, James Gregory and Micah Wilshire.

Ryan, who left Zimbabwe for England in 2001, serves as the Worship Pastor at Revival Fires Church in Dudley, West Midlands, where he has led worship alongside Brian Johnson, Kim Walker-Smith, Kevin Prosch, Michael Larson, Chris Quilala and Anthony Skinner among others. He is also involved in leading worship at various conferences and events around England.

"Ryan's lyrics deliver messages of intimacy and devotion, always motivated to capture something of the reality of the presence of Christ, and hope for his generation to respond to God with a whole heart", says One Thing Worship. "Ryan's characteristic sound is one of fervour, fusing together driving acoustic melodies and rich vocals. His music ranges from intimate love songs to lively pop, to rousing anthems."
