Chris Morton To Release Single 'You Never Give Up'

Jan 16 2012

Worship leader Chris Morton from Scotland will release his debut single 'You Never Give Up' on 30th January 2012 through iTunes and other online stores. Chris co-wrote the song which has already featured on last years Soul Survivor live album 'We Are The Free'.

The single is released in support of Compassion, the international Christian child development charity who work with children living in extreme poverty in some of the poorest countries around the world.

The LTTM review of the single describes it as "a mid tempo number which is solid musically and lyrically... the melody is very easily picked up, which makes it perfect for use in a Sunday church meeting... Lyrically this song is about holding onto God" (full review coming shortly).

'You Never Give Up' has become a popular worship song following its use at the Soul Survivor and Imagine Scotland festivals last summer. The song was performed by popular singer Beth Croft on the Soul Survivor Live 2011 album which reached as high as number 44 on the mainstream iTunes UK Album Charts when it was released in November 2011.

Chris Morton's single is released by newly founded independent Christian record label Fairisle Records, based in Scotland.
