Mark Tedder Releases 'We've Waited' Single In Arabic & English
Singer/Songwriter and Worshiplanet founder Mark Tedder has released a special new worship single, titled 'We've Waited', written in Arabic and English recorded with Egyptian Christians to encourage the church in the Middle East. The digital single is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.
"Egypt's rich history of Christendom travels through to the present day church" explains Worshiplanet. "Throughout the country Christ-followers live faithful lives. They are part of the dramatic changes. Worshiplanet founders, Mark & Carrie Tedder, traveled to the region many times. While in Cairo, they recorded, 'We've Waited'. Haunting Arabic melodies overlap modern rhythms as Egyptian musicians and vocalists demonstrate their hearts cry. They are waiting. And we're waiting with them."
During November Mark and his band Worshiplanet will be touring in Northern Europe with concerts in Norway, Sweden and the UK. Last year Mark released a live worship CD/DVD titled 'Restore' recorded in various cathedrals around Europe. He previously spent several years serving at a church in Beijing, China, where he recorded a live album called 'The Door' in 2009.
