Rend Collective Album Details Confirmed Along With Slot On US Rock & Worship Roadshow Tour

Oct 31 2011

Further details about the forthcoming new album from Northern Ireland worship band Rend Collective Experiment have been confirmed. The band's second full-length album 'Homemade Worship By Handmade People' will be released on 9th January 2012 and will feature eleven tracks including 'You Are My Vision', which has proved popular during the band's live shows this year.

"Homemade Worship By Handmade People is exactly what the title suggests", says Kingsway. "Recorded in church halls and houses in their organic collective style, this new collection of worship songs fuses a depth of sung theology and fresh melodies that reflect God-given creativity. Themes of redemption, devotion and celebration make this a 'complete' worship experience with styles and sounds that span from Arcade Fire and Mumford & Sons to Fleet Foxes and Snow Patrol."

Rend Collective Experiment will be promoting the new album on both sides of the Atlantic, with three UK dates prior to the release in Edinburgh (5th January), Belfast (6th) and London (7th). The band will also be part of the Rock & Worship Roadshow across the USA during Spring 2012, kicking off on 26th January in Mississippi and continuing into March, alongside artists including MercyMe, Tenth Avenue North, Lecrae, Disciple, Hawk Nelson and Sidewalk Prophets.

The band's debut album 'Organic Family Hymnal' (2010), resulted in a viral iPhone worship video, UK tours with Francis Chan and Shane Claibourne, and a US tour with Chris Tomlin and Louie Giglio.
