Phatfish Continue 'Higher Tour' Featuring Songs From Their New Album

Oct 14 2011

Phatfish continue their UK 'Higher Tour' this weekend with shows in Aldershot (14th October 2011) and Maidstone (15th) before their hometown gig at The Komedia in Brighton next week (20th). The popular British worship band, fronted by singer Lou Fellingham, are featuring songs from their brand new studio album 'Higher'.

"We're two gigs in to the 'Higher Tour' and it's been a fantastic time so far", said the band. "We were also seriously chuffed to have 'Higher' played on Radio two on Sunday 2nd October. What a cool thing to have 'Don't you know that you were made for something so much Higher' pumped out across the airwaves to thousands across the nation! We also have more tour dates to announce for 2012. This list is ever growing so keep a look out for more."

In addition to title track 'Higher', the album also includes a song based on the key facts from Genesis 1v1, 'In The Beginning', and a new version of the epic hymn Charles Wesley wrote at the time of his conversion, 'And Can It Be'.

Discussing 'Higher' in an interview with Louder Than The Music, Lou Fellingham said "The album has a mixture of snappy pop sounding songs, to anthemic rock sounds, to intimate sounds with everything in between. This is, once again, a great reflection of what Phatfish has always been, but with fresh life in it."
